Restarting America Means People Will Die. So When Do We Do It? - New York Times Article

Dear family, We are on the downhill side of 2021, but already, Christina and I have attended four funerals of family and friends.  This article is from last year (a year ago April). It was referenced by Klaus Schwab in his book “COVID-19: The Great Reset”. It is relatively long, so I have not read it in it's entirety. And there is more than one expert quoted in the article.  The startling point to me was the theory that we should take into account the number of life years lost, not just the number of lives lost.  For example, if most of the people dying are almost 80 years old, the estimated years of life lost is very different as compared to an average 40-60 year-olds dying; or numerous young people dying in war.  Check out this article from The New York Times, you'll be able to read it for free.
